Sea mist leaves a cobweb shrouded in watery jewels. The image illustrates the unexpected capacity of something delicate, a metaphor for finding strength when tested.
The work of therapy is inspiring for an abundance of reasons. Often when the therapy day is done my own art finds its way to the surface.
My art is largely in textiles and often addresses women's issues, domestic and sexual violence, finding voice and representing inner "parts", consistent with my IFS, or Internal Family Systems, work
The natural world and inter-connectivity also have large roles in my artwork through photography and creating with natural materials. I share some of my work here to help illustrate who I am as an artist and as an example of how Expresive Art takes shape.
