Meet me in Maine!

Join me in York Harbor, Maine at the historic, clandestine York Harbor Inn. We will gather at this quiet, beautifully preserved historic community for 3 days of powerful connection and learning about Internal Family Systems + the Expressive Arts!
I first discovered YHI during a very transformational time. It has a natural felt-sense of holding, healing and a team of outstanding hospitality professionals. It is one of my heart's true homes. I can't wait to welcome you there!

a Sea-side Sanctuary
As a 7th Generation Vermonter, I love my home in the Green Mountains. Over the years, as I found more personal liberation and the moxie to travel alone (read: romance myself), I developed a deep and special love for the southern Maine Coast.
I have explored and found wonderful experiences and places to treasure along the shore here and our June Art Odyssey group will gather, grow + connect at the magical York Harbor Inn.

The York Harbor Inn is a magical, multi-property collection of large historic homes, and the main Inn building, perched right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in York Harbor, Maine. The historic preservation that is so evident at the Inn is seen and felt throughout the entire community, giving a wonderful feel of 'stepping back in time'.
The Inn has roots back to 1637 when the Inn's 'Cabin Room' with its huge fireplace was dismantled in the Isles of Shoals, 10 miles off the coast, and brought to York to be re-assembled. The Inn has now been owned and operated by the same family since 1979 and has been preserved, updated and expanded with great care for its historic integrity.
Being at YHI is to step into a wonderful energy of escape, calm and deep relaxation. Every modern need is seen to while the charm is upheld. The Inn's buildings are all walkable to the York Harbor beach, Hartley Mason Reserve (the hillside park above the beach) and the amenities of the Inn such as the fabulous restaurant and pub.
Body + Soul Nourishment
As we take in lots of soul + mind nourishment, we'll be enjoying wonderful food + accommodations. An all-inclusive event, food and lodging needs are all fully seen to my me and my support team.
Food will be prepared and served primarily at the Inn. Expect fun and casual on our arrival evening with sit-down group dinners on nights 2+3.
Breakfasts will be hot and hearty, served each morning at the main Inn. A YHI breakfast is something you'll not soon forget! Lunches will be served in our working space. Menus are TBD and dietary requests are welcome.
The houses we're staying in both have (non-cooking) kitchens for any food needs you may wish to bring along. Coffee + tea are always on the ready!

"I created Art odyssey as a synthesis of ifs + the expressive arts because the union of these two ideas changed my life."

Our Time Together

"Our culture made a virtue of living only as extroverts. We discouraged the inner journey, the quest for a center. So we lost our center and have to find it again. "

Room Accommodations
Our Art Odyssey group will be staying between the Harbor Crest House + Chapman Cottage, two neighboring mansions just a short walk from the main Inn. We'll dine together, explore, and take our work to the sea-side (weather permitting).
Rooms are all singles, with primarily King-sized beds. Many rooms have jacuzi tubs in private baths. Some rooms (in a large shared suite where our group will meet) have shared baths. One room (in Chapman - the yellow house) has an antique claw-foot tub!

The suite space we'll be gathering in at the Harbor Crest (blue) House also has a spacious, private patio. Harbor Crest also has a large central library room with a fireplace where we can take our work and gather.
Both houses are situated on a sprawling hill, just a 3 minute walk one way to the beach and Inn, and a 3 minute walk the opposite way to the York River, Steedman Woods + the beloved 'Wiggly Bridge'.
